Yolanda's wrath on Philippines

The Filipino people are being tested today

Shortly before Typhoon Haiyan entered the Philippine area of responsibility on November 6, PAGASA raised Public Storm Warning Signal (PSWS) No. 1, the lowest of four levels, for much of the Visayas and Mindanao. As the storm continued to approach the country, warnings expanded into Luzon and increased in severity for eastern areas. By the evening of November 7, PSWS No. 4, the highest level of warning which indicates winds in excess of 185 km/h (115 mph) are expected, was raised for Biliran Island, Eastern Samar, Leyte, northern Cebu, Samar, and Southern Leyte. Through November 8, the coverage of PSWS No. 4 continued to expand, with areas in southern Luzon being included.
Officials placed police officers in the Bicol Region ahead of the storm. In the provinces of Samar and Leyte, classes were canceled, and residents in flood- and landslide-prone areas were required to evacuate. Some of the storm-threatened areas were affected by an earlierearthquake in Bohol. The Philippine President requested the military to deploy planes and helicopters to the region expected to be affected. As Haiyan was moving very fast, PAGASA issued warnings at different levels to about 60 of the 80 provinces, including the capital Metro Manila. On November 8, the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters was activated, providing widespread charitable satellite.  (  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typhoon_Haiyan_(2013) )

This is one of the years that Philippines is hit by a very rigorous calamity that few is expected to survive. But knowing Filipinos, they are very much high spirited, strong, hopeful and very much prayerful. They will be able to surpass these kinds of natural disasters with the help of every softhearted man and with the almighty God up above.

In these kinds of disasters, Filipinos all over the world unites to be able to help the co-filipinos who have been begging for help. Though we do not see it physically but we know, our brethren in Tacloban City and other provinces that has been hit by the super typhoon are begging, crying for help for each and every one that has a soft heart to send any thing that they may be able to use while they are still in a crucial living.

Here's the link wherein a video clip made by a certain Filipinos Abroad - Ramil T. Queroyla:
entitled "This video will make you cry" https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=648707715150959 .

This natural disaster is an eye-opener to our government officials that it is better to keep an eye on their localities, not on the government's funds and budgets.
